   Delta transforms on the main path

   The delta lane reached the main transform path: single-source pipelines now re-transform only what changed, and every reason that still forces a full run is an operator-visible action item.

   • Delta transforms for single-source pipelines: unchanged keys carry forward, only changed rows are re-transformed — the dominant path now pays for change, not volume
   • Delta visibility: structural fallbacks (join shape, conflict policy, broken lineage) and incomplete key indexes surface as action items with the reason attached
   • Superseded transforms can no longer serve as a delta base — composition always builds on the state serving actually uses
   • Contributor selection follows object insertion order, so same-timestamp extracts can no longer drop changed keys silently
   • Tombstoned previous payloads fall back to a full run gracefully instead of failing mid-compose

   Delta execution, partitioned serving & schema drift

   Delta execution is real: transforms that have nothing to do do nothing, partitioned gold tables serve atomically, and schema drift per table is now an action item, not a surprise.

   • No-op transforms: an unchanged extract reports noop and keeps serving the previous run — zero wasted writes
   • Selective delta writes: only entities and star tables touched by changed keys are rewritten; the rest carry forward
   • Month-partitioned gold serving: fact tables emit one object per populated month and serving stays atomic per job — never a partial set
   • Per-table schema drift: added/removed columns at catalog rediscovery surface as action items instead of being absorbed silently

   Faster, resumable ingestion

   The ingestion engine is learning to work on diffs: changed keys only, resumable uploads, and explicit source ownership per entity.

   • Delta ingestion — transforms only the records that changed, verified byte-identical to a full recompute
   • Resumable chunked uploads for large source files (24h sessions, manifest-tracked)
   • Entity ownership: a declared source owns each canonical entity — conflicts surface, never resolve silently
